The World Owl Trust, based in the grounds of Muncaster Castle, Cumbria, England, has a collection of Owls from all over the world. All these are Owls that have been rescued from injury or orphaned and are given a home in generous sized aviaries and returned to health. Many are successfully returned to the wild. The trust also has an active breeding program to help restore populations of rare species.
